Fujitsu Unveils Three-Times-Faster RRAM
December 28, 2006
Japanese Fujitsu recently announced that it has developed a new RRAM (Resistive Random-Access Memory), which reduces the operating speed to less than three nanoseconds from the previous model's ten nanoseconds. This enhanced RRAM, with smaller sizes, lower power consumption, and triple memory capacity in comparison to flash memories, will be used in microcontrollers and is slated to hit the market around 2010.
